Bruce Mitchell, the Gator Man   I like the fact that you can drive up on gas mode, or anywhere on gas mode, and then you hit the little switch and you're in stalk mode. You kill the gas engine and it just eases up and there's no noise, you hear nothing, no engine noise, it's quiet. You can pretty much sneak up on anything with this Brute.

I was surprised by how much power it has. I like it!

Just Killing Time TV   Having been in the hunting industry for over 15 years professionally, I have been able to use many of the ATV and UTV’s on the market during that time. There have been many good units manufactured over the years and some not so good. The good company’s are still around while the lesser ones seem to have dropped off the face of the earth. When the all-electric units hit the UTV scene some years back everyone (including myself) was excited about the shear sneak-ability of non-petroleum fueled transportation into our hunting area. But field use proved the biggest drawback to electric UTVs is that when used in steep, rugged terrain, or where several miles must be transversed its very possible (even likely) that you will run the batteries down and then there you are, walking or worse. Two years ago I got wind of a new hybrid UTV in the works from a company called American SportWorks under the LandMaster name. I was fortunate to receive one of the very first LandMaster Hybrid Crews out of the manufacturer’s door. I charged it up, fueled it and took it straight to the Blue Ridge Mountains that I call home. There I put it through its paces in some rough and steep terrain. I held nothing back and did not baby it even slightly. Using the electric, the gas, and sometimes both in tandem I found no instance (safety and commonsense applied) in which the Hybrid faltered. When I was done I realized one thing, the need for compromise is no longer necessary. No more worry about what to do if the battery bank goes dead, gone are the days of not having the shear torque of a gasoline power if needed, never again will I wish I had a motor to get over those 5 miles and then electric to sneak in that last ½ mile.

The new LandMaster Hybrids are a breath or fresh air to the UTV world. The dilemma of whether to get a gas/diesel powered UTV or electric has been nicely solved by American SportWorks.

Like I said before
compromise is no longer necessary!

Strickland's Archery Adventures   We have a lot of fun on our Landmaster. It is great to have a side by side machine that is narrow enough to use on the mountainous ATV trails here in Colorado. Whether we are crossing treacherous rocky trails to get to a good fly fishing spot or just bringing out a big game trophy, the Landmaster gets it done.

Loaded DOG Systems, Australia   G'day, after discovering the American SportWorks brand during a visit to America in 2009, I immediately contacted the company when I returned to Australia and ordered a shipment, as I recognised the no fuss, simple, strong, build quality and unique dimensions that made it so much better and useable, where other more expensive UTV's failed to go. In the tight bush tracks, where only Quad Bikes could previously go, the LandMasters can now carry two or more in safe comfort & carry a great load. From that first experience, we are now importing the LandMaster by the container load, and most exciting of all is the new Predator Xbreed Hybrid technology that just arrived. I have always been a huge fan of the LandMaster electric vehicles, and to have that combined with the powerful & proven air cooled Subaru "V" twin, just know that has to be a winner. Already, with such a short time in Australia, we have impressed everyone that has driven the Hybrid Crew Cab, and astounded those that are only used to the chatter & clatter of a petrol or diesel to get around. Imagine powering off into the early morning sunrise for another full day of hard yakka, fixing fence lines, checking water bores, locating and feeding stock, controlling ferals and protecting you & your team, all with the silent powerful electric motor and having the comfort & back up of the 650cc Subaru to boost the range to an astounding 130 miles combined, or to drop the system into 4x4 using both power plants to churn through natural obstacles and scare the crap out of your mates. This much fun should be illegal, or only available on prescription! Get one now, before you get stuck out there.
